Rose Garden

Rose Garden Homestay offers a deeply calming stay where the house is nestled within a flourishing garden of flowers and greenery in Thrikkaipatta Bamboo Village, Meppadi, in Wayanad, Kerala. The two-storey house provides a comfortable stay with three guest rooms and is recognised as the first homestay established in the village, welcoming travellers for over 18 years. The experience here is about slowing down, wandering through blooms, and spending time in nature’s quiet presence. Guests are encouraged to reconnect with simple pleasures like morning walks, reading, and reflection.

The garden is not just a backdrop but an integral part of daily life at the homestay. Food is an essential part of the stay, with most ingredients sourced from the garden and meals prepared in authentic Kerala style, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that are flavourful and home-cooked. Breakfast is included in the stay, while lunch and dinner are available at an additional charge.

At the heart of the stay are the hosts - Mary, a passionate cook, gardener and member of a women-led village pickle entrepreneurship unit who loves experimenting with flavours and Eldho, an ex-military professional now working in the telecom service - who together offer guests a warm, grounded experience rooted in everyday village life.
